Summer Walk

Bev Langley Farm, 1105 Boyle Road, R.R. 1 Fenwick

8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Centrally located in the watershed of the Welland River, the Langley property has an 18 acre slough deciduous forest that is part of a large provincially significant woodland, 61 acres of productive farm fields, a 5 acre orchard, & a 10 acre mixed plantation that was planted in 2003.

Everyone who owns a woodlot has a special interest in the animals and birds that visit or live there. In August many birds are still rearing second & third broods so looking for Wood Thrush, Rose-breasted Grosbeak & flycatcher nests can be challenging & fun. This is an event you don’t want to miss.

From the corner of Highway 20 & Victoria Avenue (Regional Road 24) travel west on Highway 20 to Boyle Road. Turn south on Boyle Road & travel 1.0 km to 1105 on east side of road. Park by outbuilding near the woodlot.

Tel: Bob Oliver (905) 692-0318 or Bev Langley (905) 386-0220.
